Elektromagnetické bezdotykové tepelné zpracování nemagnetických kovů a jeho vybrané aplikace
Mach, P. ; Doležel, Ivo ; Barglik, J. ; Karban, P.
The paper presents more detailed information about the technology (overall description, its advantages and drawbacks, possible arrangements the system, typical parameters) shows the basic mathematical models and discusses the possibilities of their numerical solution. The theoretical consid-erations are illustrated on two examples from the industrial practice.
Možnosti elektromagnetického čerpání tekutých kovů a jejich numerické modelování
Musil, Ladislav ; Doležel, Ivo ; Karban, P. ; Ulrych, B. ; Barglik, J.
Electromagnetic pumps and feeders of molten metals are widely spread devices used in many branches of industry. Their operation is, however, accompanied by a high consumption of energy. Im-provement of their efficiency and optimization of their design requires detailed knowledge of the relevant electromagnetic (and sometimes also thermo- and hydrodynamic) processes. The paper deals with the principles of operation of such devices, presents their mathematical models and techniques of their numerical solu-tion. The theoretical analysis is illustrated on typical examples providing the fundamental ideas about their operation parameters and characteristics.
Vybrané procesy v tekutých kovech řízené elektromagnetickým polem a jejich počítačová simulace
Mach, M. ; Doležel, Ivo
The paper presents some important results obtained by the authors during the three-year work in the domain of electromagnetic stirring and levitation melting. From the viewpoint of mathematical modeling both processes represent coupled problems characterized by mutual interaction of two or three physical fields, together with evaluation of various force effects. The theoretical analysis is illustrated on two typical examples whose results are discussed
Techniky zpracování tuhých a tekutých kovů založené na elektromagnetické indukci
Doležel, Ivo ; Šolín, Pavel ; Musil, Ladislav ; Ulrych, B. ; Karban, P. ; Barglik, J.
A lot of up-to-date industrial technologies associated with treatment of solid and liquid metals are based on thermal and force effects of electromagnetic field. The fundamental process is induction heating of metals that precedes a number of consequent operations such as tempering, drying, melting, stirring, hardening, hot pressing etc. The paper summarizes physical essence of the above processes (that usually represent complex coupled problems) and presents their mathematical and computer models as well as possible methods of their solutions.
Numerical Analysis of Induction Heating-Based Assembly and Disassembly of Shrink Fits
Shulzhenko, M. ; Gontarowskiy, P. ; Matyukhin, Y. ; Pantelyat, M. ; Doležel, Ivo ; Ulrych, B.
The paper deals with mathematical modelling of assembly and disassembly of structural parts that are coupled with interference fit by means of induction heating. The process is formulated as a quasi-coupled electromagnetic-thermoelastic problem in 2D arrangement. Its solution is based on time stepping with built-in internal iterative processes for improvement of accuracy of parameters of linearised equations describing all three involved fields that are in each time step solved by the finite element techniques.
